In 2020 the Ultima Online team embarked on a bold journey with a goal to forge a legacy with the next generation of Britannians.  In October of 2024 we welcomed thousands of adventurers as they crafted, casted, and quested as part of Ultima Online: New Legacy Season 1.  Today, we are excited to announce the launch of New Legacy Season 2!

Over the past year, the Ultima Online team has focused on enhancing and expanding the experience from Season 1 including,

• All new player onboarding experience – whether these are your first steps in Britannia, or you need a refresher we’ve added helpful tips throughout gameplay to help you better navigate your adventure.
• New Skill: Chivalry – will you answer the call of the righteous?  Embark on a journey to cement your legacy as a Paladin of Trinsic.
• Family Heirlooms – discover your family’s history with unique, player specific, heirlooms to collect that celebrate your legacy.
• Pure Mage Improvements – for those most devoted to the arcane arts, learn the ways of the legendary mage Nystul and take advantage of powerful spells and buffs
• Crafting Improvements – discover antiquities and heirlooms while resource gathering, if you’re lucky you might even uncover a special pet lure.  Crafters can now improve equipment and take advantage of scrap – recycling their materials and manufacturing new wares.  Bring mechanations to life with the discovery of Mechanical Life Knowledge.
• Vesper Museum – whatever it is, it belongs in a museum!  New antiquities are available to discover, define your legacy as a renowned treasure hunter!
• Animal Taming – befriend and control all new categories of creatures including Unicorns, Large Avians, and Primals with 11 new pets overall!  Collect new hues of the magnificent Manticore or the coveted Draalwyrm.
• Legendary Foes – will you have the skill and courage to face off against Britannia’s most menacing monsters?  Fight 4 new legendary foes!
• Primal Lands – explore this untamed wilderness – loot new artifacts and battle against an all new champ spawn!

We are pleased to announce the beta release of the Classic Client Renderer upgrade is now available for testing!  To test the beta release of the upgrade you will need to patch up the client and follow the instructions here.

We want to thank everyone for their patience as we’ve worked towards this incredible milestone.
