How did you get that call sign? Any particular meaning? Helios was the Sun god in Greek mythology, the son of two Titans - Theia and Hyperion. As the god of the Sun, Helios was thought to ride a chariot drawn by horses through the sky, bringing light to the earth.

Position at Origin (job title): Designer and Creator of Worlds

What do you do (i.e. what's that job title really mean)? Design specs trickle down the river and end up on my desk. I add in my 2 cents and write the code to make it all happen in our game. I wish everyone could have a job this cool. I also do other infrastructure geek-type stuff, when I get the time - I like putting things into databases, and automating processes. J

Can you describe your "big break" into the gaming industry? Getting hired at OSI to be a GM, some years ago.

What did you want to be when you were growing up? Big and Strong. Careful what you ask for. They don't call me the Titan for nothin'!

Where were you on this day 10 years ago? I can't remember what I had for breakfast - surely I can't be held responsible for knowing what happened 10 years ago. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

What is your favorite thing about UO? Isometric Camera View !!!!

What is your fondest memory in UO? In the days before Trammel, I would travel the world with my Tinker and would leave "happy boxes" at various places around Britannia for people to enjoy. First it was "ooohhh" and "ahhhh" - then there was running and screaming. Much fun was had by all.

Most embarrassing moment (in-game or out)? I'll never tell.

So tell us… what was your worst subject in school? Geography.

Favorite way to spend a Friday evening? Writing code. Am I not pathetic?

What's your favorite game of all time? Currently, it's Battlefield 194

Your favorite comic (comic books or online comics)? Believe it or not, I've never read any comics.

What is your favorite food? Anything Italian or German probably.

Do you have pets (in real life)? What are they? I've got a black cat named Magic. I like to be original in everything I do.

What's your dream car? Metallic black Mercedes S-60 Fine, German engineering!

What's your favorite holiday, and why? Hallows Eve. Who doesn't like Halloween? More fun than you can shake a stick at.

Your favorite color? Black. Who wants to worry about coordinating colors? Keep everything black, and life gets much easier.

And last but not least… If you had to be stranded in the Britannian desert for the rest of your life, what one person would you want with you? Someone that can give me a gate to town.
