From now until 11:59PM PDT, June 27 (6:59 GMT, June 28) we'd like you to find and report as many issues as you can find with your Personal Attendant. Five lucky players who submit valid bug reports will be selected to win a code for a free Personal Attendant. The codes will be delivered via email after Publish 41 goes world wide. What would you do with your own personal servant? Surely many of us have daydreamed about just what it would be like to be rich and powerful, even to have highly skilled attendants at one’s beck and call!
Well my friends, wonder no more! A recently formed venture based in the city of Britain is offering all the citizenry a chance to, for a short time, be on the receiving end of extraordinary services usually reserved only for the nobility!
Taking what was once an old and traditional system, they’ve breathed new life into an entire class of work! They provide magical contracts which summon an eager, thoroughly trained personal attendant to your side, to do your bidding as long as they’re needed! From exploring strange new cities, or having yourself announced at parties - they’re prepared to accommodate any situation at any time.
This fine company has made an agreement with the Royal Mint to provide these contracts to any bank box holder for, as we’ve already mentioned, a limited time! They wish to test their system as well as their employees, and the contracts will last until they end their testing phase and begin selling their services at last.
They do ask participants to please report any issues they may have as soon as possible. Also, they wish to give a fair warning that these contracts are purely temporary, and are designed to disappear once the testing period has ended. In other words: they seem to have spent a pretty penny on some high level magery work!
Known Issues (please don't email us with these):
- If you die while you have your attendant out, he will disappear
- If you log out while you have your attendant out, he will disappear
- When the owner is out of range the herald barks an error message
- Attendants lose their clothing when passing through a moongate
- Personal Attendant's will not follow players into their private houses
- Guides cannot lead players to a destination that is across a server line
- When Guide is used in Fel it will try to take players in the Britain Stronghold and fail
- The player will receive a Tarot Card reading even without entering a question
- Heralds in houses don't always say owners correct name or title
Cliloc errors are due to not having the latest client. Please patch UO and the Cliloc errors will go away.
These tokens are for test purposes only, and will delete themselves after the test period. Any Personal Attendants or Personal Attendant Deeds will also be deleted. Everyone will get one, so please don't buy them from other players!
