Now when you redeem your promotional codes for Soulstones, Soulstone Fragments, and Character Transfers you will receive an Ultima Online Promotional Token instead of the item or service on the spot.

When you are ready to claim your promotional item or service, simply double-click on the token to use it. These tokens will help take the guesswork out of giving, receivng, or trading promotional items.

Q: How do I get a Promotional Token?
A: All you have to do is enter your promotional code into the in-game Promotional Code Redemption Tool. Your code will be validated, and a Promotional Token will be placed into your backpack. For detailed, step-by-step instructions, click here.

Q: Where can I get Promotional Codes?
A: Soulstone codes were given away as a pre-order promotion. Except for occasional promotional events, you can no longer get Soulstone codes.

Soulstone Fragment codes are that same code as your UOSE Upgrade code and are found on the back of your Ultima Online: Samurai Empire CD jewel case. There are two codes there, but you'll want to enter the Current Player Account Upgrade Code, NOT the New Player Account Registration Code. Entering the wrong code won't cause any harm, but it will cause you to wonder why the code doesn't work.

Character Transfer codes can be purchased through the UOGameCodes.com online store.

Q: I used my Promo Token, and have my promotional item, but I want to put it back so I can trade it to someone else. How can I do that?
A: You can't. Once an item or service has been redeemed by using a Promo Token, you can not put the item or service back into the Promo Token. Please make sure that you really want to redeem your Promo Token before you do so!

Q: Can I still trade Promotional Codes in or out of game?
A: We recommend that you do not. One of the major reasons we implemented this system was to help alleviate headaches caused by unscrupulous people trying to scam the honest players with bad codes. These tokens will help give you the assurance that you are not getting a faulty code.

Q: Can I use the Soulstone Fragment Token that has been traded or given to a character on an account that is not Samurai Empire access level?
A: No, in order for you to be able to use the Soulstone Fragment token, the account the character is on must be Samurai Empire access level.

Q: I purchased Samurai Empire from Direct2Drive and did not receive an upgrade code. Do I still get a Soulstone Fragment?
A: We have decided to allow the New Account Creation codes included with the Direct2Drive download to be useable in the Promotional Token claim system to collect Soulstone Fragment Tokens. NOTE: THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE NEW ACCOUNT CREATION CODES INCLUDED IN THE STANDARD RETAIL EDITION
