Elves generally rely on the resources of their forest environment. Their architecture is comprised of finely crafted and delicately sculpted wooden structures. Elegant patterns and details help the elven structures complement their natural surroundings rather than dominate them. These structures use light-colored wood (almost white in many cases) and numerous curves (usually creating arches). Elves often live in high trees, so their buildings are light weight and often interweave with surrounding branches.
